Short Story Contest Guidelines

Entries not conforming will be disqualified; fee will not be returned.

The story can be up to 7000 words long, double-spaced pages

Entry must be unpublished in any form.

Author's name must not appear on entry. A cover page with complete identifying information is required for all submissions.

Entries may be submitted either electronically or in hard copy .

Electronic submissions should be sent in Microsoft Word file to shortstories@aabookfestival.org. The $10 payment for electronic submissions should be made on the Ann Arbor Book Festival's Gift Shop page.

Hard copy submissions should be sent along with a $10 check payable to "Ann Arbor Book Festival" to:

Absent an email contact address to notify entries of the results, a self-addressed stamped business envelope is required for hard copies. Please enclose with submission(s).
