Maps and Information Driving Directions Parking Hotels Driving Directions I-94 Eastbound (from Jackson and Chicago) Take I-94 East to Exit 172, Jackson Road. Turn left (east) on Jackson Road. Jackson Road becomes Huron. Continue on Huron to State Street. Turn Right on State Street. For the Street Festival, turn either left or right from State Street onto Washington Street (parking lots are located in both directions). See map for exact parking locations. I-94 Westbound (from Detroit) Take I-94 West to Exit 177, State Street. Turn right (north) on State Street. Continue on State Street to the U-M campus. For the Street Festival, turn either left or right from State Street onto Washington Street (parking lots are located in both directions). US-23 Northbound and Southbound (from Toledo or Flint) Take US-23 to Exit 37 B, Washtenaw Avenue (to Ann Arbor). Go west on Washtenaw. Continue on Washtenaw until it forks. For the Street Festival, veer to the right when Washtenaw forks. Washtenaw becomes Huron. From Huron, turn left onto Thayer or State. See map for exact parking locations. M-14 Westbound (from Plymouth or Livonia) Take M-14 West to Exit 3, Downtown Ann Arbor, Main Street. Continue on Main Street. For the Street Festival, turn left on Washington. See map for exact parking locations. I-96 Eastbound (from Lansing) Take I-96 East to US-23 South to M-14 West. Follow directions for M-14 Westbound. U-M Sports Coliseum We know that parking can be difficult and take longer than expected; therefore we have arranged some convenient parking options for you. Option 1: Park in Ann Arbor city lots These structures are just a few blocks away, but they are worth the walk. With cheaper fares and less congestion, the following structures are a great option. Liberty Square Entrance off Washington between State Street and Division $2.00 after 4 pm and on Saturdays; free on Sunday Maynard Street Entrance off Maynard Street at Thompson Street $1.00/hour; 1st 3 hours free on Sunday Option 2: On-Campus parking Located near Rackham Auditorium and Hill Auditorium, this parking structure is the most conveniently located. However, this structure fills up fast and may be congested, so get there early. Be sure to check in with the attendant and tell them you are there for the Ann Arbor Book Festival to avoid getting a ticket.
